Why richer than chocolate?

Richer than chocolate – why you would probably ask?
The quick answer is – we LOVE chocolate, we love chocolate cake (actually any cake) and yes again, we love anything chocolate!

Then what about rich? Who does not want to be rich? The first thing that springs to mind is money, and lots of it. Really? Seriously?

We have met Patrick Combs, a motivational speaker, in Sydney and have worked though a personal development program which he has put together with world renowned speakers. This has leaded us to think about the word “rich” and we would like to share with you.

Think about this. This morning the alarm woke us, we woke up because we are alive! We woke up in a warm bed with warm blankets after a good night’s sleep. We got up and by a flick of a button we have electricity and the lights went on, opened the tap and had instant access to clean, drinkable water. Put on clean, fresh smelling clothes. Walked to the kitchen made a cup of coffee and had breakfast – so easy!

Got into our car and went to work. Have good roads to travel to work. Live in a city that has street lights, traffic lights, clean parks, shopping centres everywhere, entertainment centres around every corner. We have a mortgage that means we have a house, we have dirty dishes which mean we have food on the table every day, and we have lots of dirty laundry which means we have loved ones in our lives.

In all of this we realise that we are blessed to live in a wonderful world. We are RICH beyond belief!!! And yes, we are and should be grateful.
